BILL BARTON MAINE ARTIST
Building on his career as a photographer,Bill
has applied his talent to painting the pastoral landscapes and coastlines of his native New England. He recently ended his
commerial career compelled by a strong desire of freedom to pursue his artistic expression. Whether his subject be an idyllic
Vermont mountainside or the rugged Maine coast, Bill's paintings combine the colors with his inner reflections to produce
the serenity found in each piece of art.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I have to visually express myself.
Painting the natural beauty I see has been, for me,
the successful resolution for this expression.
Sharing what inspires me with others is the final and most
rewarding part of the art work I create.
